If You Never Had To Shave You Would Get Three Months Of Your Life Back - Get Laser Hair Removal And Get More Time For Other Stuff

By Hanna Nicole

Do you have unwanted hair growing on certain parts of your body? Does it hinder you from enjoying normal activities you would otherwise enjoy if you don’t have it? If you answered ‘yes’ to both of these questions, then you are one of those unlucky people who got unsightly hair growths. Although these are natural, we can’t deny that these are also embarrassing for us. Imagine yourself wearing a nice dress to a party with your leg or underarms full of fuzzy hair. Isn’t it horrifying? Luckily, you don’t have to undergo that scenario anymore just to wear the clothes that you want to wear.

Laser hair removal is the medically-developed procedure of destroying hair follicles from its roots to stop future hair growth. The laser is hot enough to destroy these follicles but it is tolerable enough to spare the surrounding skin. This is possible as the laser targets melanin concentrations which are greater in hair. It is also because of this that people with darker skin tone and thicker hair tend to benefit more from this procedure than their counterparts. Despite that, several and continuous laser removal sessions are needed to fully inhibit the body’s cellular regeneration or capacity to regrow hair.

This noninvasive procedure causes only few side-effects especially when it is performed by a well-trained professional. Nonetheless, there are still some laser hair removal side-effects that naturally occur especially during post-treatment. Although temporary, these may include light scarring and skin irritation. However, if these side-effects take more than just a couple of weeks, the individual should already consult with his physician to be able to reverse the adverse effects faster. Doctors commonly prescribe ointments to soothe and to heal the irritations but other effects may require additional procedures.
