The answer to this question is yes. There are, unfortunately, many people that have the wrong idea about the lifestyle of the skater. This is true especially when it comes to the skateboarders. A lot of them would roam the city streets and other areas for a place to ride and because of this, others would see them in a negative way. They describe these skaters as dropouts and trouble makers. Many would believe that they have no respect for the law and that they are throwing away their life. Others don't want them in their neighborhood and would look at them as being dirty.

But normally, this is not the case. Most skateboarders enjoy having a lot of fun and socialize with others that enjoy the same things and they are also good, educated, and honest people. They take pride in what they do and they love the thrill of skating. They tend to spend a lot of hours practicing and learning new tricks and because of their abilities, many skateboarders have become extremely famous.
